Kisker and Denton earn honorable mention All-GPAC honors

Concordia University’s Amanda Kisker and Marlee Denton are honorable mention selections on the 2011 GPAC Volleyball All-Conference Team which was announced on Wednesday. 

Kisker (Lincoln, Neb.) had a strong junior season at the outside hitter position for the Bulldogs.  She easily led the team with 315 kills on the year (2.56 kills per set), and she also led the team with 38 service aces.  Kisker was second on the team with 305 digs, and she added 34 total blocks. 

Denton (Fremont, Neb.) closed out her Bulldog career with a solid senior season.  She was third on the team with 211 kills (1.74 kills per set).  Denton was also third on the team in total blocks with 68. 

Concordia finished the 2011 season with an overall record of 11-21.  The Bulldogs were 4-12 in GPAC play.
