SEWARD, Neb. – For the fourth time in her career, All-American Gabi Nordaker has been recognized as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Attacker of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Aug. 29). Nordaker was honored for her performances from this past weekend’s Bulldog Bash when the fourth-ranked Concordia University Volleyball team earned straight sets wins over Langston University (Okla.) and No. 11 MidAmerica Nazarene University (Kan.). These are the first sets of honors unveiled in 2023 by the GPAC.
The Millard West High School alum Nordaker dominated last week from her spot in the middle. Over the two victories, Nordaker produced a combined 20 kills and three blocks while hitting a sizzling .615. The Omaha native notched 10 kills apiece in the matchups with Langston and MidAmerica Nazarene. In her career as a Bulldog, Nordaker has played in 88 matches and has collected 921 kills and 346 blocks.
Nordaker has earned three All-GPAC awards in her career and was recognized as an NAIA Second Team All-American in 2022. She is studying Exercise Science.
Concordia (3-0) is slated to play tonight (Aug. 29) at No. 24 Hastings with first serve of the varsity match set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
