In what marked the first top five matchup ever hosted by the Bulldogs, fourth-ranked Midland defeated fifth-ranked Concordia, 25-20, 25-23, 25-23. The defeat snapped a 12-match home win streak for the Bulldogs, who finished third in the GPAC.
The fifth-ranked Bulldogs will welcome No. 4 Midland to Friedrich Arena on Tuesday for the regular season finale. Both teams are jockeying for position near the top of the league standings. The Warriors won this season's first matchup in five sets.
