Bree Burtwistle pulled in her sixth GPAC Setter of the Week award for 2023 following a week that included wins over No. 18 Midland and Dakota Wesleyan. Burtwistle ranks third nationally in assists per set.
For the fifth-straight year, Concordia has advanced to at least the semifinals of the GPAC tournament. After traveling to Jamestown for GPAC championship matches in 2021 and 2022, the Bulldogs will host the Jimmies in the 2023 semifinals.

Thanks to a senior day win over Hastings and a favorable result elsewhere in the GPAC, Concordia has pulled into a three-way tie for first place in the league standings. The Bulldogs used a gritty defensive effort to get it done on Saturday (Oct. 28).
Eight Bulldogs contributed multiple kills as fourth-ranked Concordia cruised to a 25-17, 25-11, 25-18, win at Mount Marty on Wednesday (Oct. 25). The win pushed the Bulldogs to 19-2 (12-2 GPAC) and kept them in the GPAC title hunt.
Only three matches remain in the regular season for Concordia Volleyball. This week's challenges include a trip to Mount Marty and a home matchup with Hastings. The Bulldogs will honor their eight seniors on Saturday.
The GPAC regular season title chances have been complicated for No. 1 Concordia after it fell at home in four sets to No. 9 CSM on Saturday (Oct. 21). The Bulldogs were defeated despite 20 kills from Camryn Opfer.
