Head coach Scott Mattera and the volleyball program have announced the hiring of Abby Pollart, who assumes a full-time assistant role for the Bulldogs. Pollart comes to Concordia via South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
Seniors Paige Getz and Alayna Kavanaugh both garnered honorable mention NAIA All-Nebraska accolades, as chosen by the Omaha World-Herald. Getz and Kavanaugh were second team All-GPAC performers.

The 2016 season has come to an end for Concordia volleyball, which fell in the GPAC quarterfinals on Tuesday. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 15-19 overall record.
After piling up 115 assists in last week's action, senior Alayna Kavanaugh has been named the GPAC setter of the week. It's the eighth time in her career that she has earned the award.
It's tournament time for Concordia volleyball, which advanced to the GPAC championship match in 2015. The seventh-seeded Bulldogs will be at second-seeded Midland on Tuesday (Nov. 7).
Paige Getz moved into third place on the volleyball program's all-time kills list with nine more on Saturday at Morningside. The Bulldogs fell in straight sets.
Concordia volleyball won for the fourth time over its last five matches upon the conclusion of a straight-sets win at Mount Marty. The Bulldogs hit .378 and were led by 12 kills from Paige Getz.
