For a second straight outing this week, No. 2 Concordia shook off a downer in the first set and took control. Ashley Keck led the way with 19 kills as the Bulldogs won at Doane in four sets.
In a defensive battle, the second-ranked Bulldogs cruised past No. 17 Midland in four sets on Wednesday (Sept. 17). Concordia enjoyed a 17-7 advantage in blocks and held the Warriors to an .056 hitting percentage.
A starter at libero as a freshman, Emma Brueggemann helped limit College of Saint Marty to a negative hitting percentage in last week's Concordia victory. Brueggemann notched a season high 23 digs in the win.
After a weekend off, the second-ranked Bulldogs will return to action this week with matchups against two in-state rivals. Concordia will go head-to-head with No. 17 Midland in a ranked clash.
The tone was set early and the Bulldogs never relented on Wednesday (Sept. 10). Concordia got contributions up and down the lineup while sweeping away CSM and holding the opposition to a negative hitting percentage.
After a wait of more than three weeks, the second-ranked Bulldogs will make their return to Friedrich Arena on Wednesday night. Concordia is set to welcome CSM to town for this week's lone outing.
Concordia Volleyball continues to unleash an array of contributors upon its opponents. In Saturday (Sept. 6)'s GPAC opening win, Kate Griess, Sydney Jelinek and Molli Martin were among those who emerged.
All-American Ashley Keck has pulled in the GPAC's first two attacker of the week awards this 2025 season. The Kearney, Neb., native leads all GPAC players in kills per set.
Following eight nonconference clashes to begin the 2025 season, the Concordia Volleyball team looks ahead to conference play. The Bulldogs will be headed to Mount Marty on Saturday.
The unbeaten ride reached 7-0 before the fourth-ranked Bulldogs met their match in a loss to No. 5 Eastern Oregon. Ashley Keck produced a career-high 23 kills in the morning win over Bethel.
