Bulldogs ranked 22nd in NAIA preseason poll
Concordia University is 22nd in the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Preseason Poll which was released on Tuesday.
The Great Plains Athletic Conference is again well represented in the poll. Northwestern College received all 13 first place votes and 374 total points to earn the top ranking in the preseason poll. The Red Raiders went 35-1 last year. Morningside College earned 360 points and is second in the poll, and Briar Cliff is fifth with 311 points. Concordia picked up 108 total points to earn the No. 22 ranking. Dordt College and Mount Marty College both received votes in the preseason poll.
Concordia was 15-17 overall and 6-12 in conference play during the 2010-11 season. The Bulldogs open the 2011-12 season on October 31 on the road at York College.
