SEWARD, Neb. – All-conference choices Quinn Wragge and Mary Janovich received more postseason honors via the Omaha World-Herald. The news outlet named the freshman Wragge to its NAIA All-Nebraska first team and sophomore Janovich to the second team. In addition, senior Becky Mueller received honorable mention recognition.

Wragge, a native of Crofton, Neb., made herself comfortable in her first collegiate season. She paced Concordia in scoring (14.8), rebounding (6.6), steals (1.84), blocked shots (0.59), field goal percentage (.585) and minutes per game (27.1). Since Janovich’s injury on Jan. 16, Wragge averaged 18.6 points per game. On Feb. 6 she tallied a career high 29 points in a loss at GPAC champion Morningside. She was also named the MVP of the Concordia Invitational Tournament. In her first career national tournament game, the first team all-GPAC performer posted 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Janovich has totaled 531 points over her first 53 games as a Bulldog. This season the native of Gretna, Neb., averaged 10.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game and shot 53.8 percent from the field. She equaled a career high with 19 points in the win over Briar Cliff on Jan. 2. Her season was cut short when she suffered a torn ACL during practice on Jan. 18.

Mueller owns two GPAC honorable mention honors and a second team all-conference award to her credit. She ended her career ranked 20th on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,071 career points. She eclipsed 1,000 points in the win over Northwestern on Feb. 13. This season the native of Elkhorn, Neb., averaged 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steal while shooting 36.0 percent from the floor and 77.4 percent from the free throw line.

Head coach Drew Olson’s program made its fifth-straight national tournament appearance (eight in the past nine years) in 2015-16 and finished the season ranked 19th in the NAIA Division II postseason poll.
