The week of the Cattle Classic will feature the Bulldogs at home for three nonconference games, each against teams either ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA preseason poll. The Cattle Classic is loaded with top 25 teams.
For the 14th-straight year under Head Coach Drew Olson, Concordia will open the 2021-22 season with a top 25 national ranking. The Bulldogs checked in at No. 9 in the poll released on Wednesday (Oct. 27).
After placing second in the GPAC in 2020-21, the Concordia Women’s Basketball program landed in exactly that same spot this preseason. The Bulldogs have won a combined 12 GPAC titles under Head Coach Drew Olson.

Drew Olson returned to his alma mater as Head Women’s Basketball coach prior to the 2006-07 season. Olson was influenced in his career path by both his father and brother.
A new season of Concordia Women's Basketball will open up on Nov. 1 when the Bulldogs host Bellevue. Coach Olson's squad will also head to Hawaii as part of a 30-game regular season.
After leading the Bulldogs to the NAIA national quarterfinals, Taylor Cockerill was selected as the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska team. Two other Bulldogs were also recognized.
