While struggling offensively, the 21st-ranked Bulldogs still managed to hang with No. 16 Dordt in Sioux Center, Iowa. However, Ashtyn Veerbeek and company were too much in a 69-60 Concordia loss on Saturday (Nov. 20).
Their best offensive performance of the season spurred the 21st-ranked Bulldogs to a 93-52 blowout of Midland on Wednesday (Nov. 17). Five Concordia players reached double figures and six drilled at least one 3-point basket.
Concordia looks to rebound from a loss at Briar Cliff while hosting Midland and playing at Dordt this week. Taysha Rushton enters the week averaging 21.0 points per game for the 2-2 Bulldogs.
A deficit of 14 points in the fourth quarter could not be made up on Saturday (Nov. 13) as the ninth-ranked Bulldogs fell on the road, 74-68, to Briar Cliff. The contest marked the GPAC opener for both sides.

After struggling on Friday, the ninth-ranked Bulldogs responded appropriately on Saturday (Nov. 6) at the Cattle Classic with an 88-80 win over No. 13 Dakota State. Abby Heemstra and Rylee Pauli starred for Concordia.
No. 18 Sterling blitzed ninth-ranked Concordia from the opening tip and cruised to an 84-66 win on Friday (Nov. 5) at the 22nd annual Cattle Classic. Rylee Pauli (10 points, 13 rebounds) turned in a double-double for the Bulldogs.
Taysha Rushton poured in a career high 32 points and the Bulldogs used a plus-13 turnover advantage to hold off Bellevue University, 77-71, on Monday (Nov. 1). Freshman Abby Heemstra also scored in double figures.
The week of the Cattle Classic will feature the Bulldogs at home for three nonconference games, each against teams either ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA preseason poll. The Cattle Classic is loaded with top 25 teams.
For the 14th-straight year under Head Coach Drew Olson, Concordia will open the 2021-22 season with a top 25 national ranking. The Bulldogs checked in at No. 9 in the poll released on Wednesday (Oct. 27).
