The conference race is over. Second-ranked Concordia locked up the outright GPAC regular-season title on Saturday afternoon courtesy of a 90-70 win at Briar Cliff. The Bulldogs have won 26 games in a row.
Concordia shot 60.7 percent in the second half and pulled away from Doane for a 97-73 win over visiting Doane on Wednesday. With the victory, the Bulldogs locked up at least a share of the GPAC title.
The win streak stands at 24 as second-ranked Concordia looks to wrap up a GPAC regular-season title this week. The Bulldogs host Doane on Wednesday before hitting the road this weekend.
Concordia moved within striking distance of wrapping up the GPAC regular-season title following Saturday's 84-62 win at Mount Marty. The second-ranked Bulldogs have won 24 games in a row.

On the heels of another perfect week for second-ranked Concordia, freshman Philly Lammers picked up her second-straight GPAC weekly award. The Omaha native totaled career highs of 24 points and 13 rebounds in the win over No. 9 Hastings.
The work of Quinn Wragge and Philly Lammers inside and another stellar defensive effort helped push the second-ranked Bulldogs to their 27th CIT title in program history. Wragge was named the tournament MVP.
The second-ranked Bulldogs again used their relentless press to wear down an opponent. This time, Concordia-Wisconsin was the victim in a 107-65 CUNE victory on the opening day of the 2017 Concordia Invitational Tournament.
A 29-5 run to end the game pushed second-ranked Concordia to its 21st-straight victory. Behind 23 points and 14 rebounds from Philly Lammers, the Bulldogs toppled Hastings, 68-47, on Wednesday (Jan. 25).
After helping lead No. 2 Concordia to its 19th- and 20th-straight wins, freshman Philly Lammers has been named the GPAC player of the week. The Omaha native totaled 32 points and 17 rebounds during last week's action.
