    Top-25 road matchup awaits Concordia

The Concordia University Women’s Basketball team will look to bounce back from last week’s loss at Briar Cliff with a trip to Sioux City to take on 24th-ranked Morningside on Saturday (Dec. 12).

  • In the most stressful of victories during the current streak, the 11th-ranked Bulldogs closed the game on a 9-0 run to pull out a 73-66 win at Hastings. Taylor Cockerill poured in 18 points.

  • A Confident and decisive Concordia Women’s Basketball team keeps on rolling. Fifteen Bulldogs contributed to Tuesday (Nov. 24)’s rout that featured 40 turnovers forced and another 14 3-point field goals.

  • First team All-American senior guard Kristen Conahan hit three after three down the stretch to propel the fifth-ranked Concordia women’s basketball team to a 90-82 victory over No. 5 Morningside inside Walz Arena last week. The GPAC took notice and on Tuesday named Conahan the first conference player of the week of the 2013-14 season.
