Five from Concordia women's golf named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

2024-25 NAIA Spring Sport Scholar-Athlete List

SEWARD, Neb. – Five Bulldogs from the Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Golf program were named to the list of 2024-25 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes released on Wednesday (April 23). The honor roll included seniors Jennifer Gillotti and Sarah Wilson, juniors Emery Custer and Maddie Lewis and sophomore Emma McCoy. The four upperclassmen are each repeat NAIA Scholar-Athlete award winners.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

The team’s top performer again in 2024-25, Custer earned Academic All-District (College Sports Communicators) and Second Team All-GPAC accolades last season as a sophomore. Custer will lead the Bulldogs into the 2025 GPAC Championships next week.

Concordia University, Nebraska ranks as the NAIA’s all-time leader in number of Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes with 2,526 entering the 2024-25 academic year. The school record for number of Scholar-Athletes in one academic year is 226 achieved in 2019-20. Concordia has been a regular national leader for both Scholar-Athletes and Scholar-Teams.
