SEWARD, Neb. – Schedules have been finalized for the spring of 2022 for the Concordia University Golf programs. After putting a bow on the fall portion of the 2021-22 season in October, the women’s team is counting down to the spring’s first tournament, the Southwestern Invitational in late March. The spring slate will feature four events leading up to the GPAC Championships in April.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s women’s team will enter 2022 with a seventh place standing in the GPAC. In fall action at the 2021-22 conference championships, the Bulldogs turned in a two-round score of 351-353–704 while competing at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D. Kendra Placke has again starred for Concordia and shot an average score of 79.1 during the fall. She resides in fifth place on the conference leaderboard.
The annual Concordia Bulldog Invite will serve as one of the highlights of the spring season. The Bulldogs will host the event at their home course of Highlands in Lincoln on April 5-6. The spring slate will open at the Southwestern Invitational on March 28-29 and include the Hastings Bronco Invite (April 11-12) and the Siouxland Invite (April 18-19).
The 2021-22 GPAC Championships will resume on April 25-26 at Norfolk Country Club in Norfolk, Neb. National qualifiers will receive invitations to play at the 2022 NAIA Women’s Golf Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla., May 24-27.
