Fall 2021 Women’s Golf Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The fall portion of the 2021-22 Concordia University Women’s Golf schedule has been announced (released on June 24). The fall slate features six events covering 11 total rounds. The new season will tee off Sept. 2-3 at the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, S.D.
Head Coach Brett Muller will enter his 11th season leading the men’s and women’s golf programs. The women’s team is coming off a third-place GPAC finish in 2020-21. The Bulldogs will be strong at the top of the lineup thanks to the presence of three-time All-GPAC performer Kendra Placke. She won two tournaments last season and placed seventh in the conference.
Leading up to the fall GPAC Championships, Concordia will also take part in the Lila Frommelt Invite (Sept. 17-18), Matthew Goette Invite (Sept. 21) and the Nebraska Wesleyan Fall Invite (Sept. 25-26). Two rounds of GPAC action will be contested Oct. 4-5 at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D. The fall season will wrap up with the Nebraska Intercollegiate (Oct. 8-9).
The spring 2022 schedule will be released at a later date. The NAIA sponsors its women’s golf national championship in the spring. Oklahoma City, Okla., will serve as the site for the 2022 national tournament (May 24-27).
