2022-23 Concordia Women’s Golf Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University Women’s Golf program has firmed up its fall 2022 slate, as announced on Monday (July 18). The Bulldogs are all set to open the 2022-23 season at the Mount Marty Invite in early September. That event will be one of five official tournaments during the fall portion of the campaign. Beginning with this season, the entirety of the GPAC Golf Championships will be played in the spring.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s women’s team placed fifth in the GPAC this past 2021-22 season. Four-time All-GPAC performer Kendra Placke polished off a sterling career that saw her finish third in the GPAC as a senior. Honorable mention All-GPAC golfer Lauren Havlat will return this coming season.
Concordia will make one home appearance this fall when it hosts the Concordia Alumni Match Play event (unofficial tournament) at Highlands Golf Course on Sept. 10. The rest of the way, the Bulldogs will be back at a number of tournaments they have played in previous years. The schedule from mid-September forward features the Lila Frommelt Fall Classic (Sept. 14-15), the Matthew Goette Fall Classic (Sept. 21), the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite (Sept. 24-25) and the Nebraska Intercollegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).
The spring portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date. The 2023 NAIA Women’s Golf Championship is set for next May 23-26 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
