Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad has competed in seven events throughout the 2024-25 season. Most recently, the Bulldogs placed sixth at the Briar Cliff Match Play Tournament held in Sioux City, Iowa. The spring portion of the campaign got started during spring break with two rounds of golf in Litchfield Park, Ariz., site of the Southwest Minnesota State Spring Invite. At that event, junior Emery Custer set new career lows for a single round and two-round tournament score as she shot 76-82–158 and placed 26th in a field of 79 golfers.
A returning GPAC All-Conference award winner, Custer leads the team this season with an 18-hole scoring average of 82.5. Custer’s highest place finish (ninth) this season came at the Siouxland Invite back in the fall. The team’s top five in 2024-25 has also featured junior Maddie Lewis (88.5), senior Jennifer Gillotti (90.8), freshman Savannah McFalls (91.5) and senior Sarah Wilson (97.7). The team scoring average in 10 rounds this season rests at 351.8. Concordia is hoping to build upon the season low 334 it turned in at the SMSU Spring Invite.
At the 2024 Concordia Invite, Iowa Western held off Morningside by two strokes for the team title while powering through cold conditions. Next in line in the top five were Nebraska-Kearney, Doane and Briar Cliff. Morningside’s Sofia Castelan won a playoff and was crowned the individual champion. The Bulldogs placed seventh while shooting 367-362-354–1,083.
Following the Concordia Invite, Muller’s squad will have only one more tournament remaining on the regular season schedule. The Bulldogs will compete at the Kaitlyn Erickson Invite hosted by Doane on April 14-15.
