Trio of Bulldogs land on 2025-26 GPAC All-Conference honor roll

2025-26 GPAC All-Conference Women’s Golf Team

Concordia All-GPAC: Emery Custer (First Team); Maddie Lewis (Honorable Mention); Savannah McFalls (Honorable Mention).

SEWARD, Neb. – All three Bulldog honorees played a role in the 2025-26 Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Golf team setting a new program standard for season scoring average. For their efforts, seniors Emery Custer and Maddie Lewis and sophomore Savannah McFalls were named 2025-26 GPAC All-Conference award winners on May 8. As voted upon by league coaches, Custer was placed on the first team and both Lewis and McFalls landed on the honorable mention list.

Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad wound up placing fourth at the 2026 GPAC Championships. The ’25-26 Bulldogs broke school records for lowest 18-hole team score (320), lowest 36-hole tournament team score (336-322–658) and lowest single season average (335.9). The previous standard for lowest team average was 348.1 set by the 2020-21 team.

The Broken Bow, Neb., native Custer put together a career that ranks her amongst the top players in school history. She earned conference honors each year, collecting 2022-23 GPAC Newcomer of the Year, 2023-24 Second Team All-GPAC and 2024-25 and 2025-26 First Team All-GPAC accolades. Over the course of her career, Custer placed in the top five of nine tournaments and in the top 10 of 14 events. In 35 career events (73 rounds), Custer averaged a score of 84.0. As a senior, Custer won the Siouxland Invite, placed fourth or better at five tournaments and paced the team with a scoring average of 80.9. By year, Custer’s GPAC place finishes were 25th, 16th, fifth and 14th, respectively. Academically, Custer has been named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete three times, an Academic All-District honoree twice (by College Sports Communicators) and a WGCA All-American Scholar. She is set to graduate with degrees in Psychology and Business Administration.

A native of Treynor, Iowa, Lewis has picked up her first all-conference award following her third year competing for the golf program. She began her collegiate career as a member of the Bulldog Volleyball program. Lewis rose from 27th last season to 14th this season at the GPAC Championships. Her average score of 83.7 this season ranked second on the team. Lewis turned in four top 10 placements in 2025-26, including a third-place claim at the Frommelt Fall Classic. In 27 career events (56 rounds) played, Lewis has averaged a score of 87.4. Lewis will graduate with a degree in Accounting. She has the option to return in 2026-27 for a final season of eligibility.

In her second collegiate season, the Bennington High School product McFalls emerged as the highest placing Bulldog at the GPAC Championships. She shot 87-86-82–255 and placed 13th. As a sophomore, McFalls placed in the top 10 of three tournaments: sixth at the Frommelt Classic, third at the York Invite and eighth at the Bethel Spring Invite. Her career low of 78 was achieved at the Nebraska Intercollegiate. In 16 career events (33 rounds), McFalls has posted a scoring average of 87.1. She improved her average from 89.9 as a freshman to 84.4 as a sophomore.
