2024 GPAC Preseason Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll
SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University Women’s Soccer will enter 2024 as one of the teams expected to contend for the GPAC regular season championship. The Bulldogs were placed second in the 2024 GPAC Preseason Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll released on Friday (Aug. 9) by the league office. Concordia finished second in the regular season this past 2023 campaign, marking the fourth time in program history that it has claimed either first or second in the GPAC during the regular season.
Nick Smith enters his second season leading the program. The Bulldogs welcome back seven all-conference performers from the 2023 squad that finished at 13-4-3 overall. That group includes first teamers Savannah Andrews, Kierstynn Garner, Hannah Kile and Niah Kirchner. The ’24 team officially opened fall training on Wednesday following report date on Aug. 6.
In the GPAC preseason poll, Concordia snagged two first-place votes and a total of 110 points. Defending GPAC regular season champion Hastings polled at No. 1 with 10 first-place votes and 120 points. The Bulldogs will begin the 2024 season with a trip to Graceland University (Iowa) on Aug. 28. The complete schedule can be found HERE.
