SEWARD, Neb. – The league office announced Addie Snyder as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday (Oct. 6). The defensive midfielder helped Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer to back-to-back shutouts on the way to an unprecedented 5-0 conference start for the Seward roster. She joins Evie Keller (Sept. 29) as one of two Bulldogs to receive the award this season.

The freshman out of Kearney, Neb., notched two assists against College of Saint Mary in the 3-0 win over the Flames. Snyder and the Dawg defense have only allowed eight shots on frame in the past two clean sheets over CSM and Briar Cliff (2-0). She played 149 minutes total in the two contests and all 90 versus the Chargers.

The business administration major has scored a goal and dished two assists on the season to tally four total points. Snyder has competed in four complete games and started in nine of the 10 possible outings in her first year at Concordia. The team has four shutouts in the last six games.

The Bulldogs are set to face Mount Marty in a battle of conference undefeated sides on Wednesday in Yankton.
