Two rematches from last season's GPAC tournament championship run are coming up this week as the Bulldogs will take on Midland and Dakota Wesleyan. Concordia is coming off two draws in a row.
An opportunity for a GPAC road win slipped through Concordia's fingers on Saturday (Sept. 25) as the Bulldogs settled for a 2-2 draw at Northwestern. Madeline Haugen and Michaela Twito scored for Concordia.
Concordia managed to dodge a series of second half bullets in a 1-1, double overtime draw with Dordt on Wednesday (Sept. 22). Grace Soenksen scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs (4-2-1, 1-0-1 GPAC).
Concordia will take an 11-game unbeaten streak against conference opponents into the week. The Bulldogs (4-2, 1-0 GPAC) will host Dordt on Wednesday and then travel to Northwestern on Saturday.
Michaela Twito became the program's all-time leader in games played as the Bulldogs rolled to a third-straight victory. Lisa McClain scored twice in the 7-0 blowout of Mount Marty on Saturday (Sept. 18).
Bethany Fuchs and Lina Kirst teamed up on the golden goal as Concordia defeated in-state rival Bellevue for the first time since 2015. The Bulldogs moved to 3-2 heading into GPAC play.
The Bulldogs have an eye on finishing nonconference play strong as they head to Bellevue on Wednesday. Concordia will then welcome Mount Marty to Seward on Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
A goal apiece from Mikeila Martinez and Anisa Lewis spurred Concordia to a come-from-behind win over Southwestern on Saturday (Sept. 11). The Bulldogs effectively avenged one of their losses from the spring.
No. 23 Benedictine controlled the action and defeated the Bulldogs, 3-0, in Seward on Wednesday (Sept. 8). Concordia slipped to 1-2 while being outshot, 22-5.
Two matchups with teams Concordia saw during the spring 2021 semester are on the schedule for this week. The Bulldogs will host No. 25 Benedictine on Wednesday before traveling to Southwestern on Saturday.
