• A 1-0 lead eventually turned into a 4-1 loss for the previously unbeaten Bulldogs (3-1-1). Visiting Bellevue handed Concordia just its sixth home defeat since the start of the 2014 season.

  • Four more nonconference games remain on the schedule before the Concordia women's soccer team begins GPAC play. The Bulldogs own a record of 11-1-1 and have outscored their opponents 43-7 over the last 13 games.

    Carley nets GPAC defensive award

    After collecting 15 saves during last week's action, sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Carley has been named the GPAC defensive player of the week. Carley is a native of Urbandale, Iowa.

  • The prolific Bulldog scoring attack went quiet on the final day of a weekend event hosted by Concordia-Chicago. CUNE (3-0-1) remained unbeaten while settling for a 0-0 draw with Concordia-Wisconsin.

  • For the second straight outing, the Bulldogs put five goals on the board and cruised to victory at home. Fiver different players scored for head coach Greg Henson's squad, now 2-0 on the year.

  • The first hat trick of Maria Deeter's collegiate career allowed her to grab GPAC offensive player of the week accolades. The Seward native led Concordia to a 5-1 season opening win over Avila last week.

  • The Bulldogs will first host York College on Tuesday (Aug. 29) before looking forward to a trip to River Forest, Ill., for a pair of matchups with fellow Concordias. CUNE opened its season last week with a win.

  • On the strength of Maria Deeter's first career hat trick, the Concordia women's soccer team opened up the 2017 season in impressive fashion. The Bulldogs rolled to a 5-1 win over visiting Avila University.

  • After two weeks of scrimmages and practices, it's time for the defending GPAC tournament champions to play for real. The Bulldogs will host Avila at 1 p.m. on Saturday for their 2017 season opener.
