The Concordia women's soccer program has a way of rising to the occasion in big moments against conference teams. The Bulldogs did it again on Wednesday (Oct. 18), upsetting No. 18 Midland on the road.

For the first-place Bulldogs to be the best, they truly will have to beat the best. This week’s action begins with a pivotal matchup at No. 18 Midland on Wednesday. Concordia (6-0-1) is unbeaten in conference play.

After contributing two game-winning goals last week to help Concordia remain undefeated in conference play, Sami Birmingham has been named GPAC offensive player of the week for the second time in her career.

Two perennially strong programs squared off inside Bulldog Stadium with the result being a 3-0 Concordia win over Morningside on Saturday (Oct. 14). The Bulldogs remain undefeated in GPAC play.

For the fifth time in six GPAC games, the Bulldogs (9-2-3 overall) recorded a shutout win. Concordia dominated possession in a 3-0 home win over Doane on Wednesday (Oct. 11). Three different Bulldogs scored a goal.

After two on the road, it’s time for two at home. Concordia will have a chance to extend its unbeaten run in conference play this week when it hosts Doane on Wednesday and Morningside on Saturday.

Head coach Greg Henson's women's soccer program has been honored with the College Women’s Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2016-17 academic year.

Despite a 26-7 advantage in the shot count, Concordia settled for a 0-0 double overtime draw with Northwestern on Saturday (Oct. 7). The Bulldogs (8-2-3, 4-0-1 GPAC) remain undefeated in conference play.

Two goals apiece from Sami Birmingham and Kaitlyn Radebaugh helped keep Concordia (8-2-2, 4-0 GPAC) unbeaten in conference play. The first-place Bulldogs hit the road for a 5-1 win over Briar Cliff on Wednesday (Oct. 4).

Concordia brings a 3-0 GPAC record into action this week. The Bulldogs (7-2-2) will hit the road and play at Briar Cliff on Wednesday (Oct. 4) and at Northwestern on Saturday (Oct. 7).
