Bethany Fuchs and Lina Kirst teamed up on the golden goal as Concordia defeated in-state rival Bellevue for the first time since 2015. The Bulldogs moved to 3-2 heading into GPAC play.
The Bulldogs have an eye on finishing nonconference play strong as they head to Bellevue on Wednesday. Concordia will then welcome Mount Marty to Seward on Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

No. 23 Benedictine controlled the action and defeated the Bulldogs, 3-0, in Seward on Wednesday (Sept. 8). Concordia slipped to 1-2 while being outshot, 22-5.
Two matchups with teams Concordia saw during the spring 2021 semester are on the schedule for this week. The Bulldogs will host No. 25 Benedictine on Wednesday before traveling to Southwestern on Saturday.
In its first road test of 2021, the Bulldogs fell by a 3-0 score at Grand View on Tuesday (Aug. 31) night. Concordia was limited to two shots while slipping to 1-1 overall.
In the lone outing of the week, the Bulldogs will head to Des Moines for Tuesday's matchup with Grand View. Concordia is looking to avenge last season's double OT loss to the Vikings.
Hannah Haas and Mikeila Martinez supplied a goal apiece while the Bulldogs stifled the opposition’s attack in a 2-1 win over visiting Tabor. Concordia played for the first time since winning the GPAC tourney title in the spring.
The long wait for the start of the 2021 season will end on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Tabor College. Concordia is looking to avenge a 1-0 loss to the Bluejays that occurred in 2019.
