Likely needing a win to keep hopes alive of winning a second GPAC regular-season title in a row, Bulldog women's soccer tied at Midland, 1-1. Concordia is now 8-0-3 in GPAC play heading into the regular-season finale.
With two games to go in the regular season, the Bulldog women's soccer team sits tied atop the GPAC standings with an 8-0-2 conference mark. Concordia will play Midland Wednesday and Briar Cliff Saturday.
A lead that lasted for more than 25 minutes eventually fell by the wayside and the Bulldogs settled for a 1-1 draw at Jamestown on Saturday (Oct. 20). Concordia remains in the hunt for a GPAC title.

Concordia women's soccer will attempt to continue its GPAC unbeaten streak while playing two squads nicknamed the Tigers. The Bulldogs will celebrate senior day on Saturday when Dakota Wesleyan visits Seward.
On paper, the 2015 season looked like somewhat of a rebuilding year for Concordia University women’s soccer following a GPAC tournament championship season in 2014. The Bulldogs had graduated a pair of first team all-conference choices and a second team all-league selection after the program had earned its first-ever national tournament bid.
Concordia University women’s soccer continues to gravitate to new heights. On Tuesday the Bulldogs jumped five spots in the national poll to No. 16, a position that again ranks as the highest placement in program history.
