    Bulldogs push GPAC leading Jimmies

Concordia went toe-to-toe with the GPAC leading Jimmies on Saturday (Oct. 8) but couldn't overcome the 14th-minute goal from Aubree Gessel. The Bulldogs managed to limit Jamestown to four shots on goal in their 1-0 defeat.

  • A flurry of goals and a return to the win column was exactly what the Bulldogs were looking for. Two goals from Ellie Eason helped Concordia to a 5-0 victory over DWU, marking the 100th in Head Coach Thomas Goines' career.

  • For the first time in 2022, the Bulldogs have tasted defeat. They left Fremont with a 3-1 defeat despite owning an 18-7 advantage in the shot count. Grace Soenksen notched the lone goal for Concordia.

  • In a game the Bulldogs dominated, they couldn't find the back of the net and settled for a 0-0 draw with Northwestern. Concordia outshot the Red Raiders, 18-5, while completing a week with two ties.

  • In a physical clash that the visitors led for virtually the entire second half, the Bulldogs settled for a 1-1 draw at Dordt. Concordia got its lone goal from Ellie Eason while keeper Kalie Ward made six saves.

  • After a slow start, Concordia exploded in the second half and blew out Mount Marty, 6-0, in its GPAC opener on Saturday (Sept. 17). Five different Bulldogs scored a goal as the team moved to 6-0 this season.
