Compiled overall records of 6-6 in singles and 4-9 in doubles ... went 3-4 in GPAC singles and 3-3 in GPAC doubles matches ... combined with Tara Ferrel on three wins at No. 2 doubles ... played all singles matches at No. 4 or 5.

Went 1-0 in singles and 0-1 in doubles.

High School
Megan played for Coach Carrie Mitchell at Erie High School. She was a four year letter, four year starter for the Tigers, and was voted captain for one year. She was awarded most inspirational player award and four year varsity award. The tigers received second place in conference her senior season. Megan also played volleyball and cross country while in high school.

Personal
Megan was born in Lakewood, Colorado to Stephen and Lori Hakes. She has two siblings: Daniel, who runs track here at Concordia University, and Lauren Hakes. She enjoys running, music, horseback riding and working at the local pizzeria.
