In a major home test on Saturday (March 20), the Concordia Women’s Tennis team dropped all singles and doubles matches while up against NCAA Division II Emporia State.
Despite stellar play at the back end of the lineup, the Concordia Women's Tennis team came up short in a 5-2 loss to Tabor College (Kan.) on Saturday (March 13).
In its first home match of the spring, the Concordia Women’s Tennis team found itself in an uphill battle against visiting Iowa Central Community College, which won, 7-0.
Freshman Sophia Morales enjoyed a strong outing at the top of the lineup in a 4-3 team loss at Bethel College on Thursday (March 11). It marked the first defeat of the season for the Bulldogs.
While depth is a strength for the Concordia Women’s Tennis, the Bulldogs can also compete at the top. Claudia Miranda Viera starred in a 5-2 win over Bethany on Saturday (Feb. 27).
The depth of the Concordia lineup proved to be a difference maker as the Bulldogs resumed the 2020-21 season with a win at Sterling College on Saturday (Feb. 20). Concordia is 2-0.
