The postseason run concluded in the GPAC semifinals on Friday (April 28) as Concordia Women's Tennis defeated Northwestern and then lost to Midland. The Bulldogs racked up 13 wins and Ella Dean broke a school record in doubles.
The pairings are set for the 2023 GPAC Women's Tennis Tournament. As the No. 4 seed, the Bulldogs will take on fifth-seeded Northwestern in the quarterfinals. Both the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will take place on Friday.
Concordia will enter next week's GPAC tournament having won four of its last five matches. The Bulldogs found a way to pull out the close battles on Saturday (April 22) and eked past Northwestern, 4-3, in Fremont.

Despite the young athletes on the Concordia women’s tennis team, the Bulldogs proved to be a GPAC contender in the 2016 season. The team, made up of freshmen and sophomores, went 5-3 in the conference this year.
