Bulldogs compete in Warrior Open and Quality Inn Open

The Concordia University wrestling team split up this weekend.  Most of Concordia’s squad traveled to Minnesota for the Warrior Open.  A few of the Bulldogs traveled to Hastings to take part in the Quality Inn Open.  The Bulldogs had several top-5 finishers on the weekend.  They are listed below.  A complete listing of the results as well as a release covering all of the weekend action will follow soon. 

125 Pounds – Brandon Roath finished fifth
133 Pounds – NAIA #1 Adam Joseph finished first
141 Pounds – Jake Williams finished fourth
157 Pounds – John Frerichs finished fourth
174 Pounds – Alfredo Torres finished fourth
184 Pounds – Seth Crane finished fourth
197 Pounds – Julian Silva finished third
285 Pounds – Dillon Heesch finished third

The Bulldogs travel to the Northwestern College dual (Jan. 11) and the Matman Invitational (Jan. 14) in the coming week.
