Three incoming Bulldog wrestlers will be competing in the Nebraska Scholastic Wrestling Coaches Association Senior All-Star Dual.

Seth Bass placed third for Bellevue East High School as a senior at 189 pounds in the Nebraska state wrestling championships. He will be representing the East Team at 184 pounds.

Traven Claflin placed second for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School in the Nebraska state wrestling championships with an overall record of 37-5. He will be representing the West Team at 165 pounds.

Seth Crane placed third for Maxwell High School in the Nebraska state wrestling championships with a 43-2 senior season record. He will be wrestling at 174 pounds for the West Team.

“We are very excited to see some of the outstanding members of our recruiting class being honored by this selection,” said Bulldog head coach Doug Reese. “To be in an All-Star dual with the best wrestlers in the state is quite an accomplishment. We feel very blessed to be able to recruit these student-athletes into our program. There is no doubt that Bass, Claflin and Crane will contribute as freshman and have outstanding careers for us.”

The NSWCA All-Star dual meet will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at Grand Island High School.
