Trio of Bulldogs ranked in latest NAIA North Region poll
Three Concordia Bulldog wrestlers are ranked in the latest NAIA North Region Coaches Poll.
Topping the list for the Bulldogs is freshman 133-pound wrestler Adam Joseph (Hastings, Neb.). Joseph, who is ranked #6 nationally, is 16-6 and has placed in five tournaments this season.
Julian Silva (Covina, Calif.) is ranked #3. Silva also sports a 16-6 record and has placed in four tournaments at 197 pounds. Silva is a two-time California Junior College All-American.
Brandon Starkey (St. Paul, Neb.) is ranked #5 at 149 pounds. Starkey, who was the Bulldog's Most Valuable Wrestler last season, is 15-11 during the 2010-2011 campaign.
All three Concordia wrestlers have achieved the NAIA qualifying standards for the 2011 National Wrestling Championships that will be held in March.
