• Despite a pin by Jerry Stepps III to get the night started, the Concordia wrestling program saw its GPAC dual win streak come to an end on Friday (Jan. 12). Midland topped the Bulldogs, 31-12.

  • Walker Fisher made the biggest waves for the 19th-ranked Concordia wrestling team during its stay at the National Duals. He went 3-0 and helped the Bulldogs end the event with a win over William Penn on Thursday (Jan. 4).

  • The 2017-18 season will resume this week at the National Duals for 19th-ranked Concordia. The Bulldogs have drawn No. 7 Life University in the first round that will get underway on Thursday morning (Jan. 4).

  • A 4-0 run at the Oklahoma City Duals helped senior Jared Woods collect GPAC wrestler of the week honors for the first time in his career. Woods upset the 11th-ranked wrestler in the 157-pound weight class in Oklahoma City.

  • Jared Woods led the way for a Concordia wrestling squad that split its four matchups at the Oklahoma City Duals on Sunday (Dec. 17). Woods collected four of the team's 24 individual victories on the day.

    Next stop: Oklahoma City Duals

    Next up for the 17th-ranked Concordia University wrestling team are Sunday's Oklahoma City Duals. The Bulldogs will test themselves against four fellow NAIA members in Oklahoma City.

  • Deandre Chery and Chucky Hedrick both claimed runner up finishes in their respective weight classes while leading the Concordia charge at the Doane Open on Saturday (Dec. 9). Twenty-three Bulldogs competed in the event.

  • Despite a pin from Walker Fisher to start the night, the 17th-ranked Concordia University wrestling team suffered a 23-21 home dual loss to Northwest Kansas Technical College on Friday (Dec. 8).
