The 13th-ranked Bulldogs more than held their own while up against four teams with lofty national rankings at the Oklahoma City Duals. Ken Burkhardt Jr. continued his win streak and Concordia went 2-2 on the day.
Four significant tests are coming up at the Oklahoma City Duals for the 13th-ranked Bulldogs, who have won each of their last nine duals. GPAC wrestler of the week Ken Burkhardt Jr. will put his streak of six-straight pins on the line.

Ken Burkhardt Jr. is on a roll. Following a career milestone and 197-pound title at the Doane Open, the two-time All-American from Milford has been named the GPAC wrestler of the week.
Ken Burkhardt Jr. became the first competitor in Concordia wrestling history to reach 100 wins during his dominant day at the Doane University Open. Burkhardt Jr. was one of eight Bulldogs to earn a place finish.
After a close call last week at Doane, 13th-ranked Concordia returned to its dominant ways on Friday night. The Bulldogs won eight of 10 matches as part of a 38-8 victory over Northwest Tech.
For the first time this season, the 13th-ranked Concordia wrestling squad will entertain the home fans inside Walz Arena. The Bulldogs host Northwest Kansas Technical College at 7 p.m. CT on Friday.
Nate Bennett's 165-pound title highlighted the efforts of the ninth-ranked Bulldogs at the Buena Vista University Open in Storm Lake, Iowa. Three other Bulldogs also earned place finishes.
The ninth-ranked Bulldogs survived a close call while extending their GPAC dual win streak to 16 at Doane on Friday night. Ken Burkhardt Jr. and Kodie Cole both recorded pins for the victors.
The ninth-ranked Concordia University wrestling team will look to continue its run of GPAC dominance when it travels to Crete for a dual with Doane on Friday. The Bulldogs have won 15-straight conference duals.

Andrew Nicola, most recently an assistant coach at California Baptist University, has been hired as head wrestling coach at Concordia University. He takes the place of former head coach Dana Vote.
