A regular in the top 10 of the NWCA scholar team list, the 2018-19 Bulldogs checked in at No. 6 among all NAIA programs. Individually, senior Walker Fisher was honored as a Scholar All-American by the NWCA.

Walker Fisher and Darrin Miller represented the Concordia wrestling program with NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, as announced on March 1. Fisher was also a national qualifier.
Alberto Garcia carried the flag for the Bulldogs on Saturday (March 2) and concluded the NAIA Wrestling National Championships with a fourth-place finish at 133 pounds. Concordia placed 26th as a team.

At long last, Walker Fisher has accomplished a career long goal in his last opportunity to make it happen. The senior from Ashland, Neb., will take his shot at the NAIA Wrestling National Championships this Friday and Saturday.
