A home dual win streak of 13 will be on the line on Friday when the 17th-ranked Concordia wrestling team hosts Northwest Kansas Tech. The Bulldogs defeated Dakota Wesleyan 55-0 in their season-opening dual.
Eight Bulldogs collected place finishes as part of a long day at Saturday's (Dec. 2) Buena Vista University Open. Concordia's 13 wrestlers combined for 21 individual wins.
Five Bulldogs recorded pins and the 20th-ranked Concordia wrestling program opened up the dual season with a dominant 55-0 win over Dakota Wesleyan. The Bulldogs have won 22 consecutive conference duals.
The Concordia wrestling program will make its home debut on Thursday (Nov. 30) when Dakota Wesleyan pays a visit to Walz Arena. The Bulldogs have won each of their last 21 GPAC duals.
Sophomore Deandre Chery paced Concordia wrestling with four victories during Saturday's action at the UNK Open in Kearney, Neb. Collectively, the 20th-ranked Bulldogs combined for 20 wins.
Five grapplers turned in place finishes at the Grand View University Open on Saturday (Nov. 11) in what was the second outing of the season for the 16th-ranked Bulldogs. Cameron Devers is 7-1 this season.
The 2017-18 Concordia wrestling season is underway. The Bulldogs combined for 51 victories, seven place finishes and three titles at the Dan Harris Open hosted by Baker University on Sunday (Nov. 5).
