After a close call last week at Doane, 13th-ranked Concordia returned to its dominant ways on Friday night. The Bulldogs won eight of 10 matches as part of a 38-8 victory over Northwest Tech.
For the first time this season, the 13th-ranked Concordia wrestling squad will entertain the home fans inside Walz Arena. The Bulldogs host Northwest Kansas Technical College at 7 p.m. CT on Friday.
Nate Bennett's 165-pound title highlighted the efforts of the ninth-ranked Bulldogs at the Buena Vista University Open in Storm Lake, Iowa. Three other Bulldogs also earned place finishes.
The ninth-ranked Bulldogs survived a close call while extending their GPAC dual win streak to 16 at Doane on Friday night. Ken Burkhardt Jr. and Kodie Cole both recorded pins for the victors.
The ninth-ranked Concordia University wrestling team will look to continue its run of GPAC dominance when it travels to Crete for a dual with Doane on Friday. The Bulldogs have won 15-straight conference duals.
