We are currently looking to fill several stat crew positions.
The job takes concentration and a strong knowledge of the game being played. (Generally, it helps to have played the sport to take stats for a sport.)

A publications manager creates programs for home athletic events. This entails adding rosters, images and other information within an InDesign document printed here on campus. Photoshop and Word are also commonly used.
We are currently seeking one publications manager.
The publications manager, in addition to being handy with InDesign/Photoshop, needs to be a detail oriented person and have good communication skills (grammar and spelling).
In addition to working on event programs, the publications manager also completes general office tasks and other functions of the sports information office as those needs arise. (If the sports information director has a project he needs help with, the publications manager would likely be the person assist.)
Announcer application »
There are two type of announcers employed by the sports information office, play-by-play and PA.
A play-by-play announcer gives an on-air account of the event being webcast. We are currently seeking students as play-by-play announcers for men's and women's soccer. Home games only. We do not send play-by-play announcers to away games.
Our PA announcers give updates about the game over loudspeakers for the audience in attendance. At this time, the sports information office is hiring student PA announcers for softball and possibly for baseball home games. Concordia's home games for these sports are played at Plum Creek Park, about a mile north of campus.
Job requirements: Previous announcing experience preferred, but not required. Must have strong knowledge of games being covered.
Camera operator application »
Camera operators for the sports information office run the video cameras for Concordia Sports Network webcasts.
We are currently seeking several camera operators.
CSN webcasts most home athletic events -- pretty much everything but cross country meets and tennis and golf matches.
Camera operators follow the game action and assist before and after events to help with the webcasts.
Experience is helpful, but we're confident we can help anyone get the hang of what to do with just a little training.
Because of the timing of sporting events, the hours for the job may include evenings during the week and also afternoons and occasionally evenings on the weekend. Your schedule and reliability are some of the most important factors when determining the number of hours you can work.
