Won the role as the team's punter ... punted 46 times for 1,735 yards (37.7 average) with nine punts downed inside the 20 (14 fair catches and two touchbacks) ... long of 60 came in the win at No. 2 Northwestern (punted season high 10 times in that game) ... booted four punts of at least 50 yards.

Prepped at Winters Mill High School (Md.) … coached by Matt Miller … started for four years … served as a team captain for one year … honored as first team all-metro, second team all-state and first team all-county as a senior … also tabbed first team all-county as a junior … also played lacrosse and basketball … achieved honor roll status.
