Appeared in 16 games with two starts ... earned a 3-2 record ... allowed 35 runs (31 earned), 61 hits and 13 walks with 10 strikeouts in 34.1 innings pitched ... hurled for a win versus Mid-America Christian (Feb. 5) giving up zero runs and four hits with one punchout in 3.2 innings pitched.

Prepped at Ralston High School … coached by Michael Gentry … lettered and started all four years … recognized by tam as pitcher of the year, offensive MVP and teammate of the year (twice) … broke school record for fielding percentage by a second baseman … earned academic all-conference three times and academic all-state honors twice … also lettered all four years in basketball and garnered academic all-conference (three times) and academic all-state (twice) awards … lettered three times in tennis and broke school records for most singles wins in a season and most singles wins in a career (as well as most combined wins in a season) … earned academic all-conference and academic all-state three times apiece in tennis … achieved honor roll status.
