Prepped at Lutheran High School (Colo.) … coached by Josh Schneider and Mark Duitsman … lettered and started all four years … served as a team captain for three years … garnered all-state honors four times, including two first team mentions and two honorable mention awards … named first team all-conference all four years … led the Lions to four league championships and two state playoff appearances, including one that resulted in a runner-up finish and one a semifinal advancement … also played volleyball for three years … achieved honor roll status and was named academic all-state.
